#FUBU Childbirth Education Class

#FUBU Childbirth Education Weekend Intensive is a culturally grounded, community-centered childbirth education experience created For Us, By Us. Hosted by The Precious Cargo Foundation, this weekend intensive is designed to equip Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) families—and those who love and support them—with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

Over the course of two interactive sessions, participants will engage in honest conversations about birth, advocacy, informed decision-making, and navigating healthcare systems that too often fail our communities. This space centers lived experiences, cultural wisdom, and evidence-based education, while acknowledging the realities of systemic racism and maternal health disparities.

This class is ideal for expecting parents, partners, support people, and advocates seeking culturally responsive childbirth education rooted in empowerment, safety, and community care.
